Escapism - An Unhealthy Report : Patient 17. Segment 1
ESCAPISM - We're all part of a viciously pleasureful cycle, where our mind finds a galaxy. A dangerous one, one where you lose your senses and consciousness. A realm which should be left untouched, yet is opened by almost every individual.
WHERE-
Do you all feel dead sometimes? Like brainless zombies? Like there is absolutely nothing inside of you after everything you have been through? Or this certain emptiness plaguing you when life just feels absolutely wretched? And then to feel alive, or just making sure the oxygen travelling through your body is magically twirling through you and the blood flowing through your veins has not evaporated yet; you just do something t0 escape the realm of reality where you feel dead or really miserable? You have just given up hope henceforth, you go to find misleading hope inside of a misleading orb, one which is your cyclical escape.
And so the tale breaks free -
Recently, I had met a psychologist. Brilliant she was! Why did I meet a psychologist? Well, I had a workshop on emotional and psychological health, whilst so completing the workshop, our instructor had managed to arrange a meeting with this psychologist. I’ll reveal her name in the final post of this series, because when I took permission from her to write this experience which includes her, she said 'I would like you to reveal my name in the final post.' - I didn't quite understand why so. But for now let's call her Miss. SM.
Now, Miss.SM; discussed and enlightened us on deeply instrumental issues and concepts related to the states and attributes of our unpredictable mind. But one in particular immensely shook me. She has several patients coming to her, seeking her consultancy and help! But she had this one patient--Patient number 17 - that is what she told us, the number, never the name. ('Discreet information - strictly personal' : Said SM) SM wisely described what problem Patient 17 was facing. Based off of her report; this problem a sneaky burglar-as it robs one off their disharmonious reality and in return presents them with sweetly toxic fantasies and solace.
Escapism.
The description and characteristics of Patient number 17 as said by SM-
" This girl dearies, Patient number 17 -
Highly sensitive I must say,
A sweetheart for sure, but when she came to me
She was absolutely heart wrenched, her soul shattered and her mind boggled.
She was unhealthy emotionally and had been suffering tragically for a long time - in terms of : Relationships, control over her mind and self, anxiety, stress, acceptance to reality, change, shortcomings, purpose, vulnerability, insecurities and most significantly willfully facing all of these conflicts and battles.
Furthermore, to find herself away from her cruelly vile problems, she started running away from all this discord by forcefully jumping into an abyss of another latently poisonous realm, a dimensionless reality which is torturously pleasant. One she thought was her last option to survive. The water to quench her thirst of hurt."
My dear stars, that is it for now - This was just the introduction about Miss SM and Patient number 17, the first segment.....Much shall be revealed soon!!!! Since this phenomenon (Escapism) we all swoon through is intricately perplexing.
