Yellloowwww there starsss!

I sincerely and dearly hope that all of you by now have pacified the chimerical and dolorous nature of life, persuading it to behave!

What I mean is:

Hope you are doing AMAZE AMAZE AMAZE hehee

Now the title of this post might, might sound sketchy, yet I verily mean this dissertation utterly and exclusively to meteorological precipitation!!!

What I mean is:

Life's quite literally drenches when you're batman, if you know what I mean.

If it's still not clear, what I am really really really TRYINNGGG to sayyyy is thattttt:

Poetry is just so emo." he said. "Oh, the pain. The pain. It always rains. In my soul.” ― John Green, Paper Towns

Simply put: I love to get wet.

Wet in the rain!

I LOVE TO GET WET IN THE RAIN.

Have you lived guys?

NO I MEAN SERIOUSLY: Have you guys lived!!

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT HOW VEHEMENTLY AND INTENSELY CONCOMITANT IS THIS PLUVIAL PHENOMENON OF DELUGE THAT WE CALL BY THE NAME: Rain.

Gosh, isn't it delightful? Drops of heaven pouring unto your messy, molecular, marvellous soul.

I feel like, life these days is sorely destitute of spontaneity and seizing the human spirit...it's like nothing gives you a high.

But you know what does?

If you couldn't guess by now 🙄 it's:

Rain.

Nevertheless,

I had been engaged in a particularly mentally tiresome task at a juncture today, so naturally I was feeling horridly queasy, withered, and dull. And then, suddenly, however, there was an accumulative display of subtle signs; it started to pour.

And I cannot tell you how alive I felt when I heard the lion in the sky roaring. (THUNDERRR) The exquisite yet boisterous melody of illumious light gracing the poised purple sky, it was indeed elysian.

But I am even more inclined to tell you about how scintillating and ebullient it felt to feel the drops soaking my molecular disposition; a corporeal body. To stand under the liquid grace of the divinely yet spine-chilling majestic sky.

MUDDY PUDDDLESSSS HEHEHEHEH

It was electrifying.

It's true what they say, the rain does heal your soul.

I was lowkey giggling like a little child, I could not help myself hahahah😭 it was so innocent and fun!!!!! It felt like finally finding this secret treasure that my dried-up emotions and zeal were so desperately digging for, even though it's undeniably so obsequious and oddly familiar.

Just to stand beneath those lush, green trees, see the drops hitting the roofs of their leaves and eventually reaching me, and listening to the soft and tender pitter-patter, putting my locquacious mind at ease.

These are the simplistic and mirthful moments of life which remind one why life isn't totally ontologically screwed into ordinare. It felt good to feel genuinely happy, to laugh, and to giggle like an oblivious little girl; it felt stupidly reminiscent.

It felt like whoa, I can truly feel good and excited inside too.

I know I know, I am such a cornball hahahah 😭

Moerover don't hate the rain, if you do, well the peeps above have an essence too, and you can't dislike them for bestowing it ever so sumptuously, now can you?

Actually you can but if you do dislike or abhor, always make sure it comes from a place of reason, ethics, and nuance.

Nonetheless, yes the rain is messy, the wet squelching of shoes, the mushy and slippery texture of your surroundings, wet clothes clinging to your body for life, humidity, gooey mud and water splashes which aren't personal, but apparently H2O itself would feel personally offended if it didn't touch your body, essentially: aqua dominance everywhere. But it offers this mirror, it resembles the human nature of mess, beauty, and soul.

And indeed, that is quite infuriating and fulsome, but hey that's the duality of every single element in the grandiose composition of the space-time fabric, metaphysically and metaphorically present: the universe. I think, however, duality would be quite redundant; the correct terminology which I find fitting, is multidimensionality: an intersectional array of multiplex living organisms and their behaviours.

Simply said: we contain multitudes, and so why shouldn't the rain?

Fundamentally, when we talk about literary devices, especially personification, and how it is this brilliant way of allocating human attributes to 'non-living elements', what then stops the rain from actually adopting the very same inherently binomial: destructive and constructive, contaminated and cleansing nature selfishly and plentifully saturated in human beings.

Is it that we cannot handle the mirror of our own vices and indictments? This would be a rather encomiastic and ironic way of living, again quite central to humanssss!

Alright all I am saying is: if you have such a problem with wetness, then so should you with dryness, and vice versa...ultimately, why not love both?

So my dear stars,

Step out and connect with nature once in a while, it is so magical...especially when you feel mellow :( Trust me, no screen can ever compete with something so purely convoluted such as natural creations themselves.

And while I was sitting on the bench, staring at those circular transparent puddles of water, taking in the petrichor's (petrichor is the pleasant, earthy smell that fills the air when rain falls on dry soil) mesmerising scent... I felt something heavy lift off me... A tranquil reverence and acceptance of the fluid and intricate dimensions of my existence.

Then I bid the sky a hearty farewell, just like how one does to an old friend. I walked home, had a pleasant shower, dryed MYSELF (cause duh, I didn't want no cold), my mother made me a warm bittersweet cup of tea (just the way I like it cause duh), touched a rock, yes a ROCK. A smooth, cool, and chill rock, touch rocks guys not grass (cause duh?)

SO GO GET OFF YOUR PHONE, HUG THE AIR, DANCE IN THE RAIN DEAR INHABITANTS OF EARTH and NON-EARTH!

Who knows what you might encounter, what you might find?

What I found was something precious; a way to connect back with myself, and somewhere along the rain, I think I also found myself.

But you knowww I was never really lost, or was I?

I guess we'll never know.

But now you know,

You know why I love to get wet,

Wet in the rain.

YES I TOUCHED A ROCK SIMILAR TO THESE ONES! Highly recommend: Go touch rocks guys :)

PS: I am not encouraging reckless behaviour. If you do want to enjoy the wetness of the rain and get wet, do so at your own risk :) I would not suggest going and dancing in the rain when the lion in the sky is roaring, i.e. thunder, don't maybe like get wet when it's thundering. AND don't blame me if you get a cold or hypothermia or get struck by lightning or whatever. Be safe and careful!!

Until then,

With torrential caprice,

XOXO,
