Before we get to the real deal, let's paws for a moment. OK, I WILL STOP NOW.
I wanted to ask questions: Which is your favorite animal/pet? And Do you prefer cats more or dogs? Do lemme know. I really love snakes even though nobody asked, I just love their ZaZa, if you know what I mean <<33
Moving on.....This post is not about cats, dogs, or snakes, as a matter of fact, it is a story related to toothpaste. Now you all must be wondering 'Gurl are you okay?' My parents always wondered how many times I have hit my head, I too do at times.

I apologize, this post is just meant to be really goofy and light-hearted just like the story I am about to tell you :) This story is a really short one, it makes us admire and appreciate the simplicity of life!
And so it begins.............

It Pr0bably didn't scare you but now the story is actually fur real though - BEGINS! -
During one of my recent online classes, my teacher shared a really sweetly warm memory from her childhood. Growing up with three sisters and one brother in a modest household, she mentioned of a time when their family managed with what they had, despite not being wealthy. She recounted how, as a young girl, she often wished she could enjoy a variety of confections and treats. However, with so many siblings, they couldn’t always afford such luxuries.

She recalled those times in the bus when she used to lurk out of the window of the bus and watch this little girl running outside towards the school bus from her huge bungalow and her mother chasing behind her, to remind the little girl to drink a glass of orange juice, every day she watched this; and every day the urge to have the comfort of drinking juice before voyaging off to school increased. So one day she picked up the courage to go ask her mother if this was possible for her too, to be able to drink juice before boarding the bus? The answer was expected as her circumstances didn't allow, her mother replied: "We have many in the house, it just won't be possible." She felt sad and slightly disappointed but then she understood and let it go.
She recalled those times during lunch breaks in school. My teacher told me how she brought simple food in her lunch and snack boxes, a plain meal for her would be :
Roti (Tortilla/Indian flatbread and 'Sabzi' (A mix of vegetables, seasoned with spices) yet in her school riches attended as well, so she used to watch how they got such uniquely new dishes in their boxes every day, she used to wonder "Wow! What a privilege!" She told me as a joke - "We used to be friends with them (those who got new dishes every day) so we all could share, swap and eat together hahaha!". She mentioned how one day a girl she knew got jam and roti (Tortilla/Indian flatbread), but at the time she did not know what jam was? So she had a question in her mind "Why is this girl getting red toothpaste with roti?" "How is she even consuming it?"
Later after years, she got to know, that it was jam which she used to mistake for toothpaste. Strange is it not? The world we live in, the simple innocence that shapes many perceptions. Now my teacher says, "Now we have jam stored for days, unnoticed and forgotten." Have you ever had a moment in your childhood or a time where you longed for something simple, only to later realize how those small wishes shaped your understanding of life?

TAKEAWAY -
- Simplicity, gratitude, and contentment are the most significant principles to base one’s life on.
- Too often, we are filled with avarice, longing for more, or consumed by pure innocence.
- Always be grateful for what you have; you never know when you might lose something very dear to you.
- To learn to love what we have, we must also learn to let go and vice versa.
- The real lesson is to appreciate what we have before it goes unnoticed—like the jam that once seemed so special.
- What we have is a blessing, not something to be cursed.
- We take things for granted; the real value of something is never lost, but we may lose sight of it ourselves.
- Wait for things in life, and then things will wait for you. :)

Lastly, the sunshine that feels overwhelming today may be the very warmth we feel tomorrow and the sunshine that feels warm today may be the very burn we feel tomorrow.

Until then,
With the most fur real and burning love,
XOXO,
